St. Paddy’s Day Dash And Bash – Run For A Good Cause

St. Paddy's Day Dash And Bash

It’s almost time for the 8th Annual St. Paddy’s Day Dash and Bash. This year’s event will be from 8 a.m. to noon, on March 16. Head to Fluor Field at the West End to join in the festivities.

It’s $30 to register for the 5k through March 14. If you register on March 15 or 16, it goes up to $35. The kids’ fun run is free, but it costs $10 if your child wants a youth T-shirt.

How It Works

This race is meant to be fun, so you don’t need to be an Olympic athlete to participate. You don’t even need to be able to run a 5k. You can walk along the course, sporting your green and having fun. The money raised will go to various charities, so you’ll be doing your part for a good cause, regardless of how fast you finish the race.

Stick around afterward for the party. There’ll be live music and kids’ activities to enjoy. You can also grab some food and drinks. It’s quite the St. Paddy’s day party, and it’s family-friendly, so bring the kids along.

Create a Team

While you can register as an individual, it’s so much more fun to run as a team. Create a team and see if you can come in with the best time. A little friendly competition always makes events more fun.

Want to Help Out?

Don’t feel like running or walking but want to do your part to help out? You can sign up as a volunteer. You can man the water station, clear the trash, or work along the race route. This is a great way to get involved without breaking much of a sweat.

Your feet will handle the heavy lifting at the St. Paddy’s Day Dash and Bash, and you’ll be tired afterward. Fortunately, you can get a new vehicle from Bradshaw Automotive Group in Greer, South Carolina, and then slip into something comfortable after the festivities. Choose from Buicks, Chevys, and GMCs at our dealership.
