There will be some great activities to do this summer in Greenville and you for sure don’t want to miss the full schedule of where you can watch a free outdoor movie with your family. Remember that these events are subject to change with the weather so check the Facebook page of the venue closer to the movie date. Check out some of these neat series and parks that will be happening this Summer:
Fidelity Moonlight Movie Series at Falls Park
These movies are typically classics that would appeal to families. Alcohol is allowed with a $1 wrist band. This year food trucks will also be at the events. Outside food and seating are allowed but no pets or smoking. Outdoor Movies at Falls Park start at approximately 8 – 8:30 PM. Falls Park on the Reedy is located at 601 South Main Street in Greenville.
City of Greer Moonlight Movies
Greer City Park will be happening beginning June 6, 2019, and ending August 1, 2019. Movies will start at dusk and the inflatables, games, and dancing will be free starting at 6:00 PM. Concessions will be available to purchase and the movies are free. Children 16 years and under must be with an adult while at the event. The lineup in June is pretty awesome starting with The Incredibles 2 on June 6th.
Movies in the Park at Heritage Park Amphitheater
Gates open here at 7:30 PM and the movies begin at dusk. Inflatables, prize drawings, and food make these movies a local favorite. There is one movie a month as the series starts with Mary Poppins Returns on June 13th.
Movies at Slater Hall
Events start at 7:00 PM and if it rains, the movies are moved inside to Slater Hall. Concessions are available. The schedule will be announced soon.
Drive-In Movies at Shops at Greenridge
Movies are often shown in June here near the Dick’s Sporting Goods so bring your chair and your favorite bev. The movies start at dusk around 8:30 PM.
